Sponsor: Bobcat Racing
Student Team: Chris Lamas, Sean Wilhite, Allan Alvarez, Victor Hernandez
Faculty Advisor: Dr. Austin Talley
Formula SAE (Formula Society of Automotive Engineers) is an international design competition where University Engineering students go head to head competing to build the best formula style racecar. The students must conceive, design, fabricate, and complete a formula style racecar. Texas State University retains its own Formula SAE team, "Bobcat Racing". This project focuses on designing and producing a high quality pedal assembly that accommodates a range of drivers through adjustability, maintains its functionality under the most strenuous conditions, and minimizes weight in the vehicle.
