The Texas State University Summer Transportation Camp/National Summer Transportation Institute (STC/NSTI) Program aims at introducing a diverse group of motivated pre-college students to the transportation industry. During the two-week residential program, students will participate in academic and enhancement activities designed to improve their skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) and leadership.

Program Overview
The program strives to:
- Increase students' awareness of different transportation modes
- Heighten students’ understanding of the importance of different transportation problems and solutions
- Expose students to a variety of transportation career opportunities
- Improve students’ creativity, analytical, and problem solving skills
- Develop students’ interpersonal, collaboration, and leadership skills
- Provide college and curriculum guidance.
